Finishing equipment manufacturer Muller Martini has said that the Primera 110 saddle stitcher launched at Ipex is now available for purchase in the UK.

　　According to the company, the degree of automation in the saddle stitcher has been enhanced and is now available at two levels.

　　Both the Primera C110 and E110 models feature automatic synchronisation of the feeder, gathering chain, stitching machine and three-knife trimmer.

　　The new front-loading flat-pile feeder is equipped with a high-mounted pile hopper.

　　The Primera 110 processes a wide range of sizes, from A7 to A3, with a number of signatures available.

　　It also has a mobile merchandise tipper, which provides extra functionality for adding cards, DVDs, CDs and sticky notes at any tilting feeder position.

　　Muller Martini’s modular format also allows the saddle stitcher to be expanded as required.
