Dresden-based finishing equipment manufacturer KAMA will present finishing solutions for digital print at Graph Expo 2010, including “the world’s first B3 format (20.9 x 15.8 inch / 400 x 530mm) flatbed diecutter,”  KAMA ProCut 53. KAMA willl be exhibiting in HP’s booth 1200.

　　The ProCut 53 diecutter applies hot foil on personalized demo jobs printed on the hp Indigo press 5500, followed by cutting and creasing. A big plus of the versatile ProCut is the impressively quick change-over from hot foil stamping to die cutting in only 5 to 10 minutes. Even small print runs can be processed efficiently and profitably. “The ProCut 53 off-line solution opens up new horizons for digital printers, book binders and digital packaging printers,” explains KAMA CEO Marcus Tralau.

　　KAMA is among the first manufacturers to offer versatile finishing solutions in the field of digital printing and digital packaging printing. In summer 2010 Hewlett Packard, the market leader in digital printing, awarded KAMA the certificate “HP Graphics Solutions Partner”. This complements the established sales cooperation between KAMA and Heidelberg US for the commercial and packaging print market.
