Coastal areas, three printing industrial bases have already taken shape in coastal areas, they are,
1. Pearl River Delta-Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao with Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong as its core centers.
2. 襓angzi River Delta?Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujiang and Taiwan with Shanghai as its centers.
3.褹round Bohai Region?Shandong, Hebei, Liaoning, Beijing, Tianjin with Beijing and Tianjin as its centers.
Guangdong province is the most important printing zone in China, there are two points about it should be mentioned specially. First, its turnover of printing has reached 100 Billion RMB Yuan, about one third of the total printing turnover of the whole country; second, its import for printing equipment was more than 683 Million USD last year, about 45% of the total import for printing equipment of the whole country. This is one reason of why we decided to hold Print China, an international exhibition, in Guangdong province.
These three bases are the foundations of China誷 printing, as on these bases the printing industry of China will develop rapidly.
Inland areas, along with the great developing drive of the Great Opening of West Region of China, the reviving of Northeast old industrial base and the growing-up of the Mid-China regions, the printing industry inland will advance adequately.
1. West region, 12 provinces, - Great Opening up;
2. Northeast region, Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning provinces, -Reviving;
3. Mid-China region, Shanxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Anhui and Jiangxi Provinces, - Growing up.
Printing Exhibitions
There are many printing exhibitions in China; but only two of them are international and most important, they are CHINA PRINT and PRINT CHINA.
China Print (Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition) is the most famous international printing exhibition in China. Since 1984, China Print has been celebrated once every four years. China Print 2005 already took place in May 11-15, 2005, 986 enterprises coming from 24 countries or regions took part in the event with their products, they occupied 92,500 square meters of exhibition area, and more than 160,000 visitors attended the show. China Print 2009 will open at newly-built China International Exhibition Center, the exhibition areas of which will exceed 120,000 square meters. More than 1000 exhibitors will show their products at the exhibition, and more than 160,000 visitors will visit the event.
Print China, International Printing Technology Exhibition of China (in Guangdong), will celebrate once every four years in springtime at Guangdong Modern Exhibition Center (GDE). As mentioned above, Guangdong Province alone dominates one-third among the production value of national printing industry, the Pearl River Delta (including the main part of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao) has been becoming an international printing base; Guangdong, locating in the center of Asia and neighboring Southeast Asia, it is going to be an essential component of “10 Plus 1” Economic Free Trade Zone. In this region a large sized international exhibition is demanded by the printing market. PEIAC, CIEC and GDPA (Guangdong Printing Association) decided to hold Print China at GDE, Dongguan, Guangdong province. Dongguan is a newly developed city between Guangzhou and Shenzhen, near Hong Kong and Macao. Print China 2007 will be held on April 10-14, 2007. We will invite exhibitors extensively from all over the world to exhibit their products at the exhibition, and at the same time we will call on all clients and professional visitors from Southeast Asia, South Asia, Australia, Middle East, all China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) to visit this event. Print China 2007 will be a tremendous printing show with a large sized exposition (75,000 M2) and an excellent effectiveness.
Printing Information
INFOPRINT is an International Printing Information Conference held by PEIAC every year, on Friday around December 1; before the opening day of PEIAC’s annual meeting; at Friendship Hotel, Beijing, China; more than 500 important persons from the printing field, including the members of the council of PEIAC, participate in INFOPRINT every time; about 20 speakers from the world release their news to the audience. INFOPRINT is the best platform for printing news release in China.
China printing industry is going to develop continuously with an annual growth rate of more than 8%!
The potential of China printing is very enormous!
