The company Field Germany ordered an eight-color ROLAND 900 in the format 6 configuration (1000 mm x 1400 mm) with a double coating module and double dryer for its new plant in Melle, near Osnabrück. There the new system will primarily produce high-quality packages for the food industry that comply with the strict hygiene standards of the HACCP. The new production plant, which equals an investment volume of EUR 17.5 million, will feature a fully automatic production line, making it the most modern folded carton factory in Europe.

　　3000th ROLAND 700 for Field's Rotopack facility
For its Rotopack facility in Stuttgart Field Germany has also ordered the 3000th ROLAND 700 printing press, which is an eight-color configuration featuring a double coating module and double dryer. Here, high-quality packaging products will be produced with expertise and finishing know-how.

The medium-format ROLAND 700 is also well appreciated in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Two presslines of this series will soon commence operations in Dubai:

A six-color ROLAND 700 with a double coating module and double dryer will increase the production capacity of Majan Printing & Packaging. This system is the third ROLAND 700 for Majan, a company that specializes in packages for the pharmaceutical industry. Founded in 1994, Majan's staff of 140 supplies the UAE and other countries of the Middle East, including countries in Africa. The new investment will make production more flexible, and in particular the system offers inline finishing with UV coating. The company also prints schoolbooks for regional and international customers. An average company production run of 50,000 copies per order requires matching system performance, something the ROLAND 700 is capable of thanks to the superior perfect printing quality. 　　Another six-color ROLAND 700 goes to Australia
The new six-color ROLAND 700 and its double coating module and double dryer is the third ROLAND 700 operated by the company Wadepack of Sydney, Australia. Besides packages for the pharmaceutical industry, the new system will allow the company to produce folded cartons in increasingly larger production runs for the food and beverage industry. The particularly high quality standards of the pharmaceutical industry also apply to these products. Wadepack was one of the first printing companies in Australia to receive ISO 9001 certification.

　　With its double coating module and double dryer, the new six-color system is introducing new finishing applications from Europe to the Australian market. The high gloss of UV coatings can now be applied in a single pass. This saves time and eliminates redundant work.
