Finishing equipment manufacturer Encore Machinery has launched the PitStop Easy Fold.

　　The new folder runs at 11,000sph and can fold stock from 60-600gsm.

　　Managing director Mike Biggs said: "We believe this product can handle twice the weight of stock that any other machine of its type can handle in the current marketplace."

　　The folder is aimed at high-volume digital and offset users and can be operated as a standalone unit or in-line to any other pitstop creasing unit.

　　The Easy Fold unit uses a patented folding sys­­tem that allows the creasing and folding of heavyweight stocks with­­out mar­­king or distorting the product.

　　Encore Machinery is based in Luton.
