Pitney Bowes has employed two print and direct mail specialists in order to help the business grow.

　　Former Buhrs UK managing director John Ricketts has joined as sales director for Pitney Bowes DMT UK and Ireland.
Prior to joining Buhrs, Ricketts also worked at Xerox and Océ.

　　Clive Stringer has also joined as head of printstream solutions. He was previously director of production solutions at Infoprint. Stringer will lead the Pitney Bowes DMT UK and Ireland production print and software businesses.

　　Gareth Stoten, Pitney Bowes general manager, UK and Ireland, said: "We are recognised as the leaders in the transactional mail market and the hire of Clive and John will further enhance this, as well as help us develop a similar position of strength in other key areas, such as direct mail."

　　"Both Clive and John bring with them a wealth of industry expertise which will benefit Pitney Bowes enormously as we look to take key strategic areas of our business forward."

　　The announcements follow the company's move into full-colour production print as a result of an alliance with HP, which leaves Pitney Bowes as the exclusive supplier for the transactional and transpromotional print markets.
