OPENING SPEECH on The Second International Forum for the Development of Printing Industry

　　Honored Guests and Friends, Ladies and Gentlemen,

　　The Second International Forum for the Development of Printing Industry opens today.  On behalf of the organizer, Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China, I would like to express our warmest welcome to you all！

　　We successfully celebrated the First International Forum for the Development of Printing Industry (Forum-PI 2005) at Diaoyutai State Guest House, Beijing, four years before, which was extensively supported and welcomed by printing industry world widely.  Excellent speeches were made by leaders of printing associations from 11 countries, China, USA, UK, Russia, Germany, Italy, Japan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines.  The participants were heads of printing associations, governmental officials, presidents from companies, experts and savants from whole world.  Forum-PI 2005 was a great success.

　　Today we hold the Second International Forum for the Development of Printing Industry (Forum-PI 2009) at Beijing Friendship Hotel.  The global financial crisis continues to spread and its impact on the real economy is emerging.  This forum provides an ideal platform to leaders in printing industry all over the world to exchange information, to understand each other get together and discuss the ways and measures to cast off the crisis.  Leaders in printing industries from 13 countries will introduce respectively the status of development of printing industries in their own countries and release how they think about the future development of printing industry.  This must be significant communication, covering much content. It must be a conference for boosting up confidence, overcoming difficulties and strengthening international cooperation. Organizer of the forum will grant the certificate of honour member to the first time speaker at this forum, denoting our respect and acknowledgement, moreover, as remembrance.   

　　The Beijing International Forum for the Development of Printing Industry is held together with Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition, every four years one time.  Next time is in May 2013.

　　The 7th Beijing international printing technology Exhibition will be open tomorrow. Even though it is badly pounded by the world economic crisis, its exhibition area still reaches 110,000㎡ bigger than that of China Print 2005 over 20%, taking all the 11 halls of New China International Exhibition Center.  The number of exhibitor increased 10% than that of last time and visitors will be expected more than that of China Print 2005.  Welcome to the opening ceremony and visit the exhibition tomorrow.  Welcome to participate in other activities held during the period of exhibition.  Every day, there is on-site lucky draw at show place.  Good luck to you!
